		<description>Erek, thanks for the link. I saw that they also had recommendations for Solaris 8 and 9 but none for 10 which I find a bit strange. But you are right, a lot of the recommendations are generic.</description>

When you get a bit more advanced, it's worth having a look at the &lt;a href="http://erek.blumenthals.com/blog/2007/12/26/nsa-security-guide-for-rhel-5/" rel="nofollow"&gt; NSA security guide for linux &lt;/a&gt; It's designed for RHEL, but a lot of the suggestions in there fit any linux distribution.
