		<description>If you do this, your tables will not be in a clean state and you will need to repair them if you find it necessary to recover from such a backup. The data will PROBABLY all be there, but myisamchk or similar will need to be run unless you want it to complain at runtime. This is essentially the same thing as shutting down your app server but leaving MySQL *up*. When MySQL is shut down it writes a sort of "clean flag" to the tables. Copying them out from underneath MySQL while it is still running will result in the tables not being marked clean.</description>
